Buford Ray Conley is the founder and CEO of CreekStone Capital Management, LLC.

He is responsible for investment selection and portfolio management.
Prior to creating CreekStone Capital, Mr. Conley was a partner at Palo Alto Investors, LLC, where he was responsible for all technology investments. Prior to joining Palo Alto Investors, Mr. Conley was a partner at Oak Hill Capital Management, a business analyst at McKinsey & Company, and an engineer at Hughes Aircraft Company.

Mr. Conley currently serves on the board of directors of Space Infrastructure Services LLC, Finance Technology Leverage LLC, and Reciprocity Labs.  He was previously a member of the board of directors of many early stage technology ventures including Limelight Networks (NASDAQ: LLNW) and Telephia (NYSE: NLSN).

Mr. Conley earned a B.S. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering with a concentration in Economics from MIT. He is the inventor of the air-breathing ion rocket engine, and has published research on the cause of aortic aneurysms. Mr. Conley is a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
